The cabins and wild camping

Located on a 40-acre upland organic farm in the Radnor Forest, a few miles from the community of New Radnor, our cabins are designed to provide basic overnight shelter for adult walkers, cyclists and horse riders passing through or exploring the local area. In addition, we offer the possibility of limited wild camping in the same field.

There is no vehicular access to the cabins, but they can be reached easily from the farmyard 500 metres along a bridleway. Alternatively, they can be reached from the Radnor Forest via one of the two bridleways which cross the farm.

Your Stay

Your stay will be limited to a short break of 1-3 nights and 2 adults per cabin. The intention is to provide basic accommodation for those travelling on across the Radnor Forest or for those who wish to explore for a few days. It is not suitable for those seeking a farm-based holiday.

The Accommodation

Each cabin is equipped with 2 single mattresses with pillows, a table, two chairs and basic cutlery and crockery. Please note, no bedding is provided. There are no cooking facilities except a small outdoor fire pit. A phone charger and 12 volt lighting is powered by a photovoltaic roof panel. There is a rainwater tub for washing water and there is also a stream running through the field. Fresh drinking water will be delivered daily. The cabins share a purpose-built single compost toilet. Essentially, the aim is to provide comfortable camping within fully insulated roof and walls.

Stabling or grazing is available for horses.
